The Bridge Peer Counseling

Design & Marketing

Merchandise Design and Marketing
May 2024 - Present

The Bridge Peer Counseling Center is Stanford’s free, 24/7, student-run anonymous mental healthcare resource.

In addition to volunteering as a counselor, I’ve leaned into The Bridge’s ‘home-grown’ ideology to design merchandise, marketing flyers, and advocacy intitiatives.

Skills:

  • Merchandise Design
  • Procreate
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Photoshop
  • Social Media

The Process:

  • Merchandise Design: Designed annual merchandise for 60 volunteer counselors using Procreate and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Event Marketing: Created merchandise and marketing collateral for “Spring Faire,” the Bridge’s annual mental health awareness event.
  • Social Media Advocacy: Led the design for a social media campaign in response to Stanford Administration’s threats to defund the program.

Impact:

  • Garnered over 2,000 petition signatures, which were instrumental in securing $80,000 of annual program funding.
  • Developed a flyer that was shared 200 times on Instagram, significantly boosting campaign visibility.
